The costs industry has never been static, and as professionals, we adapt to our surroundings, entering periods of organic growth and development whilst navigating changes to how we work. Looking back at the last 12 months, with the extension of fixed recoverable costs, Costs Lawyers remain busy at the coal face, embracing change and finding new ways of working. The advancement of AI and emerging technologies also present an interesting opportunity to harness development in this area to understand its benefits, and inevitable challenges it will pose. As Costs Lawyers, we must stay ahead of these advances, understanding not only the impact they will have but embracing change for future development and learning.
