It appears to me that none of Jackson’s aims have been achieved. It’s either time to go back to the drawing board or revert to the current form of bill. After all why try to fix what ain’t broken.

I believe the issue with the locations is being caused because users are able to select more than one location which isn’t ideal. I’ll look at a fix.

Could a member of the Council confirm how much has been spent to date?

I understand the cost to be in excess of £35,000.00, excluding hours spent by council and Association employees, the project having been commenced a couple of years ago by the previous Council.

All being well the website is due to be launched next week. That being said I am fully aware that I previously thought it would be the beginning of April and further issues arose which prevented that.

I believe the anticipated position is that the new bill will apply to any work undertaken after 01/10/17, as opposed to cases issued after that date. I agree we will need to wait for the PD to know for sure.

Thank you for your well-wishes. I work in Manchester and attended the vigil and agree the way Manchester has responded this past week fills me with pride during such a tragic time.

I am sure we all – as individuals – will share these sentiments and I know that many have sent them via Facebook. Imo members should not be criticised for apathy because they haven’t posted something on this forum (particularly when this topic has the title ACL Conference) …….

I completely agree but having put posts on about our 40th anniversary and Bob Tanner’s funeral just recently, total apathy continues yet again!

My thoughts are with all the families at this very tragic time and all credit to Manchester in the stance that is being shown by one and all.
